Thousand To "K"

 Why "K" Is Used For Thousand 

In Greek Language, Word "Chilioi" Used For Thousand.

This Is Pronounced As "Kilioi".

But With Changing Times People Started Pronouncing It As Kilo.

Kilo Is Used As a Prefix Before The Gram, Meter, Liter, Etc. 

Kilo Means Thousand. That's Why Its Used As a Short Form "K" For Thousand.
